Nutrition Business Journal Awards Dave Brubaker of Nutragenetics and Harvey Kamil of NBTY With Lifetime Achievement Awards

Internacional (Marketwired, 01 de Agosto de 2013) Dave Brubaker, chairman emeritus of Nutragenetics and Healthwell Ventures, and Harvey Kamil, vice chairman of NBTY Inc., received Lifetime Achievement awards at Nutrition Business Journal's (NBJ) 16th annual NBJ Summit awards dinner, July 25 at the St. Regis Hotel Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, Calif. "Both Dave and Harvey have given significant and instrumental contributions to the dietary supplement industry," says Tom Aarts, NBJ Summit co-founder and member of NBJ's Editorial Advisory Board for Lifetime Achievement Awards. "These are two men who have unselfishly contributed to the growth of the industry without expecting anything in return."

Brubaker has been involved in a number of leading companies in the health and nutrition industry since the start of his career in 1968. In 2004, he co-founded Nutragenetics and led the company as chief executive officer until his retirement in June 2012.

Kamil joined NBTY in 1982 as executive vice president and chief financial officer; then in 2002, he assumed the role of president and, in 2011, became vice chairman of the company. Kamil serves on the Board of Directors of the Council for Responsible Nutrition and is on the Board of Directors of the National Products Association.
